About

A haunting Halloween evening of ghost stories and gothic tales

This Halloween, join authors Michael Stewart and Katherine Clements for an atmospheric evening at Wave of Nostalgia, Haworth’s beloved indie bookshop, nestled in the village that inspired the Brontës and steeped in stories of the strange and spectral.

As the light fades and the moors darken, we’ll gather to talk all things uncanny: ghost stories, gothic tales, folk horror, and the strange magic of writing the eerie and otherworldly. Expect chilling readings from our own work, classic ghost stories, and a candlelit journey into the darker corners of fiction.

There will also be free tarot readings from Sharon Lambert from Spooks Occult Bookshop.

Come if you dare!
